The Speech Team hopes to see you tonight at 6 p.m. in the Music room for their Speech Showcase. Tonight's performance will feature the Oral Interpreation of Drama by Jaycen Hanna, Brendan Turner, Dakota Penner, Eric Jageler, and Zac Hanna; Poetry with Madeline Carr; Serious Prose with Jaycee Ohm; and Humorous Prose with Sida Bures. Join us!


The Wolves JH Quiz Bowl team traveled to Maxwell on Tuesday of this week for a large meet where there were 16 teams competing. After a tough afternoon of pool play, the Wolves secured a spot in the final four and advanced to finals. In the finals, Arthur beat Thedford and Maxwell to bring home the Championship Medals! Go Big Blue! 🥇



Important Update:


Speech Season is upon us! We will leave at 4:45 a.m. Saturday, March 8, for Maxwell and the same time for Conference in Dunning on Monday, March 10.


Arthur Ag Education students had the opportunity to tour the Sustainable Beef processing facility in North Platte. Students learned about the construction, infrastructure, and how each step from harvest to packaging is completed.





22 Arthur County FFA members competed in the second round of District Career Development Events in North Platte on Monday, March 3rd. Team representation and results are:
Ag Sales - Kegan Allen, Ella Dam, Ryan Eilers, and Sage Glinn - State Qualifier - 2nd Place
Livestock Management:
Team 1 - Dakota Glinn, Tucker Rut, Kane Delatour, Ella Dam, Ava Wenzel, and Jackson Vinton - State Qualifier - 2nd Place
Team 2 - 3rd Place - Talan Storer, Colton Pilakowski, Ryan Eilers, Grady Gorwill, Reese Swanson, and Kacey Wernsman - 3rd Place.
These two teams scored the highest on the individual test portion and received 1st and 2nd place in Swine mgmt., 1st in Horse mgmt., 1st in Beef mgmt., 1st in Sheep mgmt., 2nd and 4th in Poultry mgmt., and 2nd and 3rd in Dairy mgmt.
Floriculture - Kody Carpenter, Sage Glinn, Kaylee Wilson, and Ava Wenzel.
Meats Evaluation - Brody Vinton, Emitt Vinton, Kaleb Allen, Kody Carpenter, Jake Wilson, Carter Storer, Kegan Allen.
In an earlier CDE round, the Ag Mechanics team of Brody Vinton, Tucker Rut, Reese Swanson, and Grady Gorwill placed 3rd at districts and qualified for the state competition.
The Poultry Evaluation team of Kacey Wernsman, Ava Wenzel, Jackson Vinton, and Emitt Vinton placed 4th.






Nebraska FFA state vice president Peyton Hinrichs spent Thursday, February 27th with Ag Ed students during their classes. Activities with students promoted career readiness and exploration, leadership skills, and personal development.
Representatives from Adam's Bank and Trust also stopped in on Thursday to meet with FFA members and deliver treat bags to show their support for the organization and our student members.
