Agriculture Education students spent Thursday afternoon planting trees at the high school and lower elementary. Arthur County Schools received five trees thanks to the Ten Free Trees program, an effort of the Nebraska Forest Service, and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum. Prior to planting, students assessed planting location's and decisions were made based on practicality and sustainability. Students activated skills to cut and transplant sod, prepare proper depth and circumference of the planting basin, and directional root placement of newly planted trees.

ARTHUR COUNTY BAND FUNDRAISER
The Arthur County Band is taking orders for Christmas Greenery. This is the same product that the 4-H used for their Washington trip a few years ago. Orders can be place through the end of this month and will be delivered the first week of December.
