Arthur County Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional for the current school year and beyond. Primary responsibilities for this position include assisting in classrooms and providing support to students in 1-1 or small group settings. 

The selected individuals will provide assistance to students with special needs, students needing additional assistance / opportunities to learn and those with physical or mental disabilities.  Supervision of students and assisting the instruction provided by teachers are main duties. We are looking for someone that is self-motivated and can take direction well and display excellent communication skills along with basic computer skills. 

We offer competitive hourly rates; workdays will coincide with the days that school is in session. Position open until filled.

Arthur County Schools is seeking applicants for the position of a full or part time route bus drivers.  Candidates must maintain an unrestricted motor vehicle operator’s license and a satisfactory driving record. Possess or be able Complete the requirements for a CDL and Level I training, the school district will pay the costs associated with the training and for physical exams. Pay is $50 per route driven or if driving both the morning and afternoon $100 per day. Included is the time needed for pre trip and post trip inspections and care for the bus.  Candidates employed as a bus driver will be randomly drug tested as prescribed by state and federal law.
