Board of Education Regular Meeting Notice

The Regular Meeting of the Arthur County Schools Board of Education will be held on Monday March 18, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the High School Library.  An agenda of the meeting is kept on file in the office of the Superintendent and may be updated up to 24 hours in advance of the meeting and is listed below. 

REGULAR MEETING

1.         Call to order-Pledge of Allegiance

2.         Roll Call

3.         Consent Agenda for:

            a)  Acceptance or rejection that the meeting was advertised and adoption of the agenda

            b)  Acceptance or rejection of January minutes

            c)  Acceptance or rejection of the financial report and review saving accounts

            d)  Claims reviewed on various accounts other than the General Fund

            e)  Claims and account reading of the General Fund. Acceptance or other special instructions relating to the same

4.         Recognition of visitors and Public Forum

5.         Teacher representative report

6.         Student Representatives

            NOTE:  The school board reserves the right to enter into a closed session for the following reasons:

  1. To protect public interest
  2. To protect the reputation of an individual, unless that individual has requested an open session discussion.
